DECORTECH CONFERENCE
Surfaces made to matter

Every surface is a choice. Of material, of technology, of vision. It is where aesthetics and functionality converge to define a product’s competitiveness and value.
The evolution of coatings, the cross-pollination of different materials, and the development of increasingly sophisticated and integrable decorative techniques have turned decoration and finishing into a strategic domain for architecture and design.
Decortech Conference was created to explore this space. An international conference dedicated to companies developing the technologies and aesthetic research needed to deliver the highest possible surface quality — an added value that enhances product competitiveness.
The mission
In 2026, Decortech has a clear ambition: to establish itself as the leading international event for technological and aesthetic trends shaping the future of surfaces for architecture, design and beyond.
At its core lies a paradigm shift. Decoration is no longer just about aesthetics: it is functionality, performance, and a concrete response to design needs.
Decortech exists to make this transition visible — bringing together inspiration and practicality, research and industrial application, creative vision and enabling technologies..
The 2026 concept
Two days, one dedicated arena: Decortech brings the most relevant aesthetic and technological trends in surface design for architecture and design to the stage, while opening up to new areas of application.
Key opinion leaders, architecture firms, technology providers, top international buyers, universities and industry influencers come together for high-level discussion.
The goal is to show how every creative demand is matched by a technological solution available on the market — blending inspiration and technical expertise across both days.
Industries 2026
With the 2026 edition, Decortech shifts its perspective. The approach is no longer vertical by material, but transversal by industry — reflecting how both technology producers and users think today.
Structuring content around application sectors means speaking the language of the end user, enhancing multi-material approaches, and creating connections between worlds that, until recently, rarely interacted.
Key industries for this edition:
Housing & Interior Components
Surfaces for residential and public spaces, indoors and outdoors. Where aesthetics and performance define quality of living.
Space Industry
Surfaces for advanced applications where technology is the enabling factor and functional requirements reach extreme levels.

The story of Decortech Conference
Each edition, a step forward
Decortech was launched in 2022 within Tecna as a conference focused on digital decoration and surface finishing — an initial platform for dialogue between technology and aesthetic research.
In 2024, it grew into a special event, with a dedicated arena and space. Eleven sponsors, thirty international buyers from seventeen countries — manufacturers and processors of non-ceramic surfaces. A clear signal that the market was asking for exactly this kind of platform.
In 2026, Decortech takes the next decisive step: becoming the leading international event for those working at the intersection of decoration, finishing, technology and surface design.
