Alex Terzariol

After completing his studies, Alex Terzariol began his career as a designer alongside master Rodolfo Bonetto in Milan. In 1991, he founded MM Design, a strategic product design consultancy studio, providing companies with a comprehensive service that ranges from trend and market analysis to product development and engineering. MM Design has offices in Bolzano and Milan, as well as branches in São Paulo, Brazil, and Singapore, with representatives in China, Taiwan, and Turkey. The studio has received numerous design awards, including the exclusive iF Gold Award in 2022, the prestigious Compasso d’Oro in 2014, the Italian President’s Award for Innovation in 2012, the Best of the Best Red Dot Award in 2011, and many others. For the fifth consecutive year, MM Design has been ranked as the most awarded Italian studio according to the prestigious iF Design Ranking. Alex Terzariol was a founder and lecturer at the Academy of Design in Bolzano, now the Faculty of Design at the Free University of Bolzano. He has also taught at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and São Paulo, as well as at IUAV University in Treviso and Venice, and has collaborated with the Politecnico di Milano. From 2010 to 2014, he served as President of the ADI North-East Delegation, becoming a board member and part of the National Executive Committee of ADI from 2014 to 2020. He is currently Head of International Activities and has delivered lectures on Italian design in Switzerland, Brazil, Peru, Lebanon, Cyprus, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Bosnia, and Turkey.
