Dry Technologies and Industrial Sustainability

TECNA Future Hub | Hall D3

The Evolution of Finishing Processes

The ceramic industry is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by the need to combine production efficiency, aesthetic quality, and genuine sustainability in industrial processes. In this context, DryTech represents a new approach to ceramic surface finishing: a technology developed to eliminate the use of water during processing, reduce energy consumption, and optimize production continuity while maintaining high quality standards. The presentation will explore the key sustainability challenges associated with ceramic finishing processes—including resource management, waste reduction, operational efficiency, and quality control—demonstrating how technological innovation can make a tangible contribution to more responsible manufacturing. Through application case studies, process data, and an industrial perspective, the session will highlight the role of new dry-process technologies in shaping the ceramic factory of the future.
